A watermark for human work

OpenAI secures robots.
We secure human intellect.

Their watermark asks whether a machine wrote this. That question does not protect a course, a datasheet, or a finding.

SecretSam marks what a person made. A paid page stays on the page. A file you had to hand to someone can still say who held it.

If you paid to read, you still read. This is for the person who published it.

If you run the desk, this protects an embargo. If you received a leak, this page is not your tool.

I sell the reading.

Shield

People who write courses, books, and essays do not want the work copied, or scraped by a bot someone put together this afternoon. (Well, thank you, AI.)

Shield is that protection on the page you already sell. The reader still sees the lesson. A copy or a scrape from the browser does not leave with the sentence.

What they are allowed to see

Module 1. The person who paid still sees every word of the lesson.

Clipboard

A phone pointed at the monitor, or a recorder on the computer, is the other product.

Protect a page

I have to send the file.

Enterprise

A company does not want the datasheet in the wrong hands. A researcher does not want the finding stolen. A lawyer has to send the details to the people they trust. Sometimes the file still has to be sent.

If it is taken after that, the copy can still name who held it. Black and white: who broke the promise. Your lawyer can take it from there.

What happens to the text

  • The text is sent so it can be marked or asked a question.
  • The document body is not kept after that request.
  • The names on a copy are names you assigned.
  • A private deployment runs in your building or your private network, and your people hold the keys.

Name the copy

Two ways the work leaves

They do not want it stolen. If it had to leave, they want the name.

A course scraped by a bot someone put together this afternoon. A datasheet forwarded by someone who was trusted with it. Shield stops the copy on the page. Enterprise names who held the file.

SecretSam Shield

They can read it. They cannot take it with them.

A course, a letter, a piece of research. The person who paid still sees every word. The moment they try to carry the paragraph away, it does not go. Your page stays your page.

A phone pointed at the monitor, or a recorder on the computer, is the other product.

What they are allowed to see

Module 1. The person who paid still sees every word of the lesson.

Clipboard

The page reads. The paste does not.

What they see is your lesson, in your words. What they try to take away is not those words.

The clipboard does not get the paragraph.

Copy and cut are met at the moment of the attempt. The sentence stays on your page.

We do not keep a file on the reader.

The page does not build a dossier of who read it. This protects the work, not a profile of the person.

One line, on the site you already have.

Your team places a single script around the text you sell. The lesson stays a lesson. Nothing else about the site has to change.

Pricing

A price for the page. A price for the name.

The prices are in euros. Another currency shows the same price, converted for today. Work on a leak that has already happened is billed on its own.

All tiers include a 7-day trial before billing commences.

Converted from the euro price at the rate published Nov 5, 2026.

How it begins

Three quiet steps. Then the work can travel.

No new website. No new way of writing. You receive a key, you place it where the work lives, and from then on a copy is no longer anonymous.

  1. 01

    You receive a key.

It is shown once. Your team keeps it. After that, we only remember that the key is genuine.

  2. 02

    Place it on the work.

Around a page you sell, one script. Before a document goes out, your team asks SecretSam to mark that copy for the person who will hold it.

  3. 03

    Then you can ask.

Readers stay with the page. A document that travels can be asked for a name. You can see what was used.

Before you trust it

The questions a careful person asks.

Plain answers. The limits are part of the promise.

The person who is allowed to read still sees the work. A copy they try to take inside the browser does not leave with the sentence. A phone pointed at the monitor is a different problem, and so is a recorder running on the computer itself. Shield does not stop those. It also does not tell you who leaked a file you already sent. That question belongs to Enterprise.

Founders note

The Illusion of the Vault

I built SecretSam because the industry kept selling thicker vaults, and the vault failed the moment a trusted person opened the document.

My mission extends far beyond code. Whether I'm advising organisations on systemic change or building independent platforms like this one, my goal remains the same: to serve people by replacing broken models with honest, human-centric solutions.

SecretSam is the realization of that vision for your intellectual property.

A vow from me to you

The vault was a comforting story. On the page, the theft fails at the reader. In the document you had to share, the leak still carries a name. The outcome is the product.

At SecretSam, we listen, learn, and keep improving, until innovators and companies can finally share their human intellect without leaving the door wide open. It is possible. And most of all, your life's work deserves it.
